Dentists, who have little or no experience in wisdom teeth extraction and/or those seeking to gain confidence and clinical skills in managing impacted wisdom teeth
Learning Objectives :-
- Diagnose and assess patients presenting with impacted wisdom teeth, including identifying relevant clinical factors for case selection.
- Formulate and implement effective treatment plans for managing impacted wisdom teeth cases.
- Evaluate and manage risks associated with the surgical removal of impacted wisdom teeth.
- Perform basic surgical extraction techniques for soft tissue-impacted wisdom teeth.
- Develop practical skills in a Hands-On Masterclass using porcine jaws, with a focus on correct instrument handling, flap design, and tooth sectioning techniques.
- Confidently manage intraoperative and postoperative complications to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
