The Fellowship in Oral Implantology, in affiliation with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), is designed to provide clinicians with comprehensive training in implant dentistry. This structured program offers both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, enabling participants to confidently diagnose, plan, and carry out implant treatments, while working towards attaining Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI).
Synopsis :- This fellowship enables participants to acquire knowledge from the historical evolution of implant dentistry to the latest advancements. It enhances diagnostic, surgical, and restorative skills to establish optimal function and aesthetics, leading to the overall well-being of patients.

The fellowship is divided into four key modules:
Module 1: Roots of Implantology – Building the Foundation
Scheduled Dates: August 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, 2025
Theoretical Component:
– History and Evolution of Implantology: From ancient techniques to modern advances
– Understanding Bone Biology: Anatomical considerations in implantology
– Osseointegration: How implants bond with bone over time
– Implant Systems and Designs: Comparison of various implant systems
– Radiographic and CBCT Analysis: Basics of imaging for implant treatment planning
– Introduction to Digital Implantology: Fundamentals of 3D planning and its benefits
– Flap Designs in Implant Dentistry
– Suture and Suturing Techniques in Implant Dentistry

– CBCT Interpretation

Module 2: Surgical Fundamentals – Precision in Placement
Scheduled Dates: November 28th, 29th, and 30th, 2025
Focuses on surgical armamentarium, case preparation, and protocol for successful implant placement.
Module 3: Prosthetic Pathways – Art in Restorations
Scheduled Dates: January 23rd, 24th, and 25th, 2026
Explores both conventional and digital workflows for achieving successful implant restorations.
Module 4: Future-Ready Implantology – Advanced Surgeries and Digital Excellence
Scheduled Dates: February 27th, 28th, and 1st March, 2026
Covers advanced surgical techniques such as sinus lifting, ridge splitting, and osseodensification.
Hands-on Training :-
Participants will engage in practical exercises using:
- Anatomical models and simulation units.
- Live patient cases under expert supervision.
- Advanced digital planning tools for implant placement.
Mentorship & Clinical Supervision :-
Each participant will receive mentorship for one clinical case, guiding them through treatment planning, execution, and post-operative care. This structured support ensures confidence in applying implantology skills to real-world cases.
Certification :-
Upon successful completion of all four modules, and fulfilling the requirements set by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), participants will be awarded the Fellowship in Oral Implantology certificate, recognising their proficiency and dedication to implant dentistry.To qualify for the ICOI Fellowship, participants must:
- Attend all four modules of the fellowship program, achieving a minimum of 100 hours of implant-related education.
- Complete 20 implant cases (surgery and restoration), all of which must be at least one (1) year old from the date the implant was restored.
As part of the fellowship program, ICOI clinical case documentation methods and requirements will be discussed, and a letter of recommendation will be provided to assist participants in meeting the certification requirements.
Programme Fees :-
- Module 1 Fee: SGD 2,500 (if paid per module)
- Full Programme Fee (Modules 1–4): SGD 8,000
Clinical implant cases on patients will be charged additionally based on the needs of the attendees. Please contact the course administrator for more details.
Travel and accommodation expenses are to be borne by the candidate.
ICOI Processing Fees :-
- ICOI Annual Membership Fee: USD 275
- ICOI Fellowship Certificate Processing Fee: USD 500
- Upon receipt of payment, the ICOI membership and fellowship certificate processing will be completed by Nuffield Academy.
- Attend ONE (1) ICOI conference where the ICOI Fellowship award will be conferred.
- Participate in exclusive ICOI webinar sessions.
- Receive a hard copy of Implant Dentistry Journal, an official journal of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
