• Minimum academic requirements: GCE ‘N’ Level
• Singaporeans, PRs, and foreigners are welcome to apply.
• Completion of any form of basic dental assistant training.

Learning Outcomes:-
Oral Surgery
– Understand the instruments and equipment used in oral surgery and their proper usage.
– Learn about different extraction forceps and elevators, and their applications.
– Acquire knowledge of post-operative care, including how to manage bleeding, dry socket, and tissue or nerve damage.
– Learn about aspirators, luxators, and other hand instruments used in surgical procedures.
– Understand pre and post-operative care requirements for patients undergoing oral surgery.

Prosthodontics
– Familiarise yourself with instruments and equipment used in prosthodontics procedures, understanding their order of application.
– Recognise the materials used in crown procedures, including alginate, putty, and light body impression materials.
– Learn proper handling techniques for materials used in crown preparation and issuance.

Endodontics
– Identify the instruments and equipment used in endodontic procedures.
– Understand the stages of endodontic treatment and familiarise yourself with hand files, dressing materials, and filling materials.
– Prepare for both stage 1 and stage 2 root canal treatments.

Orthodontics
– Understand the instruments, wires, and pliers used in orthodontic procedures.
– Learn about different brackets and their applications in orthodontic treatment.
– Master the preparation for orthodontic appointments, including the initial visit, bonding, adjustments, and debonding procedures.
