Course Overview
The Customer Service Executive (Dental) course aims to prepare students for entry-level positions in one of the fastest-growing healthcare professions.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to demonstrate and apply their knowledge of:
- Health and safety and infection control in the workplace
- Patient care and management
- Customer relationships
- Basics of good customer service
- Dealing with unhappy customers (Service Recovery)
- Customer service mission and goal
- Service standards
- Knowledge of Basic Dental Anatomy
- Knowledge of basic dental procedures and allocation of appointment time & treatment
- Knowledge of reading dental notes
- Knowledge of advanced dental procedures & allocation of appointment time
- Medisave Protocols (for Implant/Wisdom Tooth Surgery)
- CHAS Protocols
- Insurance Protocols
- Medications
Course Dates

Course outline
Customer Service
(9AM – 10AM)
Covers all the customer service aspects including customer relationships, basics of good customer service, dealing with unhappy customers (Service Recovery), customer service mission and goal and service standards.
Knowledge of Dental Procedures
(10AM – 3PM )
Covers the knowledge of Basic Dental Anatomy, knowledge of basic dental procedures and allocation of appointment time & treatment, knowledge of reading dental notes, knowledge of advanced dental procedures and allocation of appointment time.
Knowledge of Dental Procedures
(3PM – 6PM)
Covers MediSave protocols (for Implant/Wisdom Tooth Surgery), CHAS Protocols, insurance protocols and distribution of medications.

Course Subsidies
This course is eligible for the Union Training Assistance Program (UTAP) subsidy.
Specially catered for all NTUC Union members – who can enjoy 50% unfunded course fee support for up to $250 each year (or up to $500 for NTUC members aged 40 years old and above) when they sign up for any course supported by UTAP.
